Playing Lacrosse in College
Playing Lacrosse in college is a very admirable goal. But, first things must come first! You need to work really hard for a very long time!
Here are 10 brief, generalized suggestions about how to start. In my opinion, hoping is not a plan!
- Learn 1-12 right and left and use it.
- Train/practice/play 3 times a week outside of high school season.
- Lift weights 2-3 times per week.
- Play hard, practice harder. Give 110% all the time.
- Commit to being the best you can be, and do whatever it takes to get there.
- Choose your club wisely… the best coaches are not always who you think they might be….
- Start emailing and contacting the coach of the colleges you might like to go to.
- Play another varsity sport… well!
- Be a good team player
- Eat very well.
