Golden Gate Shoot Out
San Francisco, Ca
7 v 7
We did well… went 5-1-1. Fun day!
This team was a mix of very talented middle school through seniors.
This was team play at it’s best!


July 12-13
Pacific Highlight Tournament
Danville, California
12 v 12
We won this tournament, beating Triple Threat in over time; 8-7.
It was a miracle because out team had never even practiced together before
The goal here was mentorship between our 3 graduated senior (who will play in college).
and our 4 middle schoolers. We had several other stars in our midst, and playing like a team
was the icing on the cake for our first  full field outing! What a proud day for us!

August 5, and August 12
Scrimmages with LULax
We will travel to Lamorinda these Tuesday afternoon/evenings to play another local club!

Meet at 4:45pm in parking lot by Nordstrom (Stoneridge Mall) out close to Stoneridge Mall Road.
Look for Jen’s Burgundy Honda Pilot!

August 5th went well: the teams seemed very evenly matched. The other team was very gracious, and everyone had fun. We had only 1 sub, so there was tons of playing time. We loaned one of our goalies to the other team.  We missed her, but the one we kept rocked in her first high school level scrimmage. The girls ran their tails off, passed like champs and played amazingly well for a team who had never played together before. Can’t wait to see what happens with this group of kids. We meet Lu Lax again next Tuesday… for more fun at St. Mary’s!


August 17, 2008 Grizzly Summer Lax Bash 7v7 Tournament
* 7 field players, 1 goalie. 
Location: California High Stadium
Price: $65 per player including uniform/pinney usage
Times: 10:00am-4:00pm (pleae arrive at 9:00)
2 teams full, sorry

September (Sometime)
We are working on another playing/mentorship opportunity here.
We travel to or host an area college team and scrimmage for an hour or more.
We hope to travel to their campus and meet their coach, and players and see the campus.
This is a fun opportunity to see what college play and college life is like!

September 14th and 28th
LULax comes to visit for Sunday Scrimmages
Members should arrive at 12:30 for warm up
Scrimmages will be 1 hour- back to back 1:00 and 2:00
A mostly Purple team will scrimmage first and White second
Players may be asked to play both levels if we need players!

October 5th
We host Triple Threat at Granada
Show up to warm up 30 minutes before you play at:
Varsity / White: 1:00
JV / V / Purple: 2:00
Blue: 3:30

Davis Playday October 26
12 v 12 format
We will take 2 teams
Cost: TBA
Must be Blue Dog Lax member or special guest to play.

We will take 2-3 teams, depending on response

5 game minimum
50 minute games
Cost: ~$125 plus lodging, food and travel.
